EDU-Home Platform Presented at the ISIC Event in Warsaw!

As part of the ISIC Event 2026 held in Warsaw, Poland, the ISIC community had the opportunity to receive an update on the ongoing EDU-Home project, in which ISIC Association is one of the core partners.

During the session on Tuesday, April 21, the EDU-Home platform was presented as one of the main outcomes of this two-year project. The platform has been developed to support dialogue and cooperation between all actors involved in student housing and mobility, with the aim of improving transparency, reliability, and timeliness in the accommodation sector. By addressing existing information gaps and inefficiencies, EDU-Home seeks to reduce one of the key barriers to student mobility.

With the project set to conclude at the end of May 2026, the discussion focused on ensuring the long-term relevance and impact of the platform. Particular attention was given to encouraging adoption among students, university staff, and housing providers, as well as exploring how the ISIC global community can help support its continued use and development.

The presentation was part of the project’s dissemination activities, aimed at raising awareness among stakeholders across Europe and beyond. The message reached more than 70 participants from Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia, highlighting the international scope and relevance of the initiative.

The EDU-Home project is an Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnership in Higher Education, coordinated by Fondazione EDUCatt. Other key partners include: ACRU – Associazione italiana dei Collegi e delle Residenze Universitarie, Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts, Sveuĉiliŝte u Dubrovniku, and Rivensco Consulting Ltd.
