The ISIC Association hosted a dissemination event for the ESC-Tension 2 project on April 21st , 2026, in Warsaw, as part of the annual 2026 ISIC Association Event with more than 70 ISIC community members and partners.
The ESC-tension 2 Project, funded by the EU, is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of the European Student Card (ESC) within the European Economic Area (EEA), with a specific focus on students. The project aims to align with the European Commission’s vision for a European Education Area by 2025, ensuring that all students across Europe can benefit from the ESC Initiative. ESC-tension 2 project has been developed as a continuation of the previous ESC-tension initiative and was coordinated by the ENDISU Foundation.
The project key partners include: Fondazione ENDISU (Italy), Normandie Université (France), Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal), ECCA – European Campus Card Association (Ireland), ESN – European Student Network (Belgium) and ISIC Association.
The sessions focused on presenting the Services Toolbox and Student Toolbox developed throughout the project, alongside their connection to the broader European Student Card Initiative. With the project officially ending on April 30th the participants emphasized on importance of further promotion of the initiative, as all stakeholders (HEIs, Services Providers and Students) at any level, both local and international, must be aware of the benefits that the ESC can bring to anyone who is involved and can contribute to promote the tools available for its implementation and dissemination all around the Erasmus area.
